Try using a 2-sided material. Object Properties has Backface Culling off by default, which makes meshes 2-sided in the viewport, but not in the render. I always set the Preferences to enable this by default, to avoid this kind of problem.
solid color and glow map? OR you could make it 2 objects and give the glowy part one of the cool green gooey mats from udk im not sure how that would work, or if it would need to be 2 objects
In 3ds max make a Multi/subObject material and apply 2 ID: id one leaf id 2 bark ...when you export your fbx it will remember and ue4 will make you a material with both textures.Hope this helps
I only played 2 games of this. Possibly because ROS was out and being loaded and I only had chance to play 2 games. After finishing ROS I never launched Battle.net. =\ Amazing game tho.
this. 1000x this. my nieces favorite movie was sleeping beauty for 2 or 3 years...the horror...the horror... while i was watching Iron giant 2-3 times a day my brother-in-law was watching that.i win, sucker.
One possible (albeit not entirely ideal) way could be to plug your V coord [0,1] to [ObjectWorldPosition.y - (ObjectRadius / 2), (ObjectWorldPosition.y + (ObjectRadius / 2))]. This would really only work properly with objects that are taller than they are wide, though.
of course valluemeal is the one person who voted for option 2 :) @Eric Chadwick - dosnt option 2 include everything from option 1 as well though? (but I agree its written in a kind of passive aggressive way)
They are 2 seperate assets. The three panels on the left are seperate to the other panels, as are the 2 panels closer towards the ceiling. The UVs are not overlapping at all, and there is more than enough space between the UV islands. There is also no mirroring going on, either!
Funny Verm, I was just reading the same on the Beeb, and thinking how utterly fucking depressing it all is. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4252481.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4252019.stm
