This might be a silly suggestion, are you running ndo2 in administrator? If not try it, mine used to crash fairly often and I heard that can sometimes be the issue. Then again your PC sounds more powerful than mine, could just be that I've monitored my memory usage more carefully these days.
You diss Crysis 2 for having a super powerful suit, then you go and praise a game that goes along with everything you just talked down Crysis for. I am thoroughly confused. Additionally, every military in the world is investing millions into the development of such a suit. Hardly ' not serious ' for a game concept.
restricted access? either you show stuff or you don't I think some of your assets are a bit flat but overall looks good! Do you really want your substance materials be as one of the top showcases? seems like your power plant or reservoir are better or intresting
CryEngine has an interesting (?) documentation. You can find the answer of your questions here: http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDOC3/Home My personal advice about CryEngine: Never give up and always try to work it out. CryEngine is very unique in behaivour but also very powerful. Goodluck and Godspeed !
Those realtime vray renders are so noisy, and raw GPU power is only improving so much a year, I doubt that's going to be the long term solution. People are already using UE4 for a ton of architectural visualization, even though they could use Vray RT for realtime interaction with clients.
Looks cool. Not something I'd sacrifice my Vray workflow for though. All about the end result for me. I can see though where this would be very powerful to concept ideas out before pushing them to game engines or what-not. I don't know much about it.
I would try Baking your maps out in Xnormal and see if you are still getting the same results. I recently tried it out and it's an extremely powerful tool and doesn't cost you a dime, also I have had no issues with baking out my normal and AO maps.
I wouldn't doubt it. 8.9 is a significant quake. The power of that traveled along the entire ring of fire, from which the yellowstone caldera isn't far from. I think it's pretty easy to see the connection. I don't think yellowstone is going off anytime soon though (lets hope).
this is looking great so far and i know you went with the narrow torso intentionally BUT it does not work aesthetically i think. narrow torso just makes him look weak and makes the arms look fake. there is a lot of power in that character that gets lost in the narrow torso you have.
Hi again guys! So the deal with releasing it on a marketplace did not work out eventually but I'm sharing it anyway! Download: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4xXOuAMpEh8WUY1eUlMdWUxSEk I've refined a few assets and had to make an optimization pass. I'd still recommend a powerful machine though. Hope that helps!
