Hi The fastest way is to use only the target engine's own terrain tool. But this wouldn't give that nice result that displacement map would. Timesaver solution -> target engine's own terrain tool Nice, realistic result -> Zbrush, World Machine The timesaver solution is good if the stylized result is ok to you. -

the scale is a little off but that's not what was bugging me. compared to the style of the rocks and the tree trunks the leaves come across as looking a lil plastic. but as BIG suggested once you smooth out the planes it should look alot more natural. cant wait to see this done! very realistic thus far -

This idea definitely needs more realistic reference for the parts he wants to achieve like pictures of skulls, human figure, facial muscles, hell even look at how movies portray zombies you can get some ideas from that too just show how disfigurement would appear. -

Yep that scale looks a lot more realistic. The handle/bumper thing seems a bit thin now? Keep working on the materials, the spec is a bit weird and the diffuse is coming along nicely, I like the added grime to the kick plate. it looks like you reduced the dent also, good move =) -

Can you show me a picture of brick steps that are as damaged with even flight strokes as that? No dick comment here, I'm just noticing a habit in how these sorts of stairs are being created amongst the art community and am ready to see it become old hat. It doesn't look at all realistic to me. -

Haha, as lame as it sounds. I recently came across some concept stuff for a less cartoony version of Pok'e'mon I thought was pretty sick. Maybe something like this, or re-shaping older cartoons or stories into a more realistic model. But then again, low-poly may not be the best for this. But still! Charizards, yo. -

yeah, i saw this a while ago too. still, it's wonderful stuff, i can't wait for this and that realistic water thing to be mixed in the same engine. but i'm more interested in the surrealist possibilities, making everything look like real life will be boring, i can see trees anytime i want. -

I would like to do a stunt motorbike game with great characters like evel kneivel, eddie kidd etc, with recreations of famous jumps etc. you have to keep adding buses to jump over and have realistic crash physics, rag doll etc. nothing new but kind of fun.
