[ QUOTE ] Holy crap Duke. [/ QUOTE ] I am especially proud of the one on the left! $600 bucks in 1986 it helped to have a buddy grading books at Vikon Village at the time! I am eternally indebted to him! edit: Mop, do not partake of that triple funnel of doom! alcohol should be sipped heavily into a drunken stupor. Not…
I dread the ammount of awesome that will soon be invading all the different 3d forums. I've already got over 11,000 unsorted 3D reference pics (with another 6000 sorted). I save way too much
I use some pretty decent sony headphones at work. Can't remember the model name. Only like $39. Good low respones (10-60hz), and the highs go into the 30-40,000khz range. Good for the money. They've lasted about 5 months now, still no issues with them.
I'm sorry but I dare anybody to tell me anything in Resistance 2 was really good? The whole game was a bog standard shooter, the very same thing I played 10 years ago. NOTHING was new, and it was so damn average I nearly stopped playing half way through. In fact, I think for shear enjoyment, the first one was better. Sure…
for $200 just get any point and shoot. They will all do the same thing. Anything over 8mp at that CCD size will make the picture worse and fill your memorycard up for no reason. Get something under 8mp. to give you relative scale, I just spent $600 on a flash. Yes I am mad. Nikon user here.

What makes me angry however is that its not really integrated in max,- e.g if you retopo it does not include your regular polyOp methods - instead it gives you new ones that are…
Its looking good for the first pass but deff needs more texture to it. If you lowpoly is at 1200 tris I would lower it down. I bet you could keep the quality and reduce it down to 600trs.
6000... wow. Are you Sure you dont just have his shoelaces selected? haha.. j.k. nice work. Low Poly is just as amazing as the high. You make me worry about getting a job in games. Im excited to see whats next. Would you mind doing some wireframes of his face upclose? It will help us crit your geometry flow? The body of…
I'll post my work if you all would like to see it. Unfortunately I didn't get the job but I certainly learned alot because they did take the time to critique my test. The requirements were to make a game ready character with a poly(tri) limit of 6000, 2048x2048;normal map, spec, and diffuse. The biggest critique they had…
