Thanks Felix for the names. London is also pretty big for design and Illustration as well which may be a good support system for me. @goeddy Cheaply/poorly Potato/pu-tah-toe
It would be nice if you only got one notification for every thread, and not for every post, for anyone who ever posted in the what are you working on thread the notification system gets useless
Hum , but in maya 2018 there isn't any other render system than arnold if i'm not wrong ? So all the maya toon effects are useless ? Sorry really not used to maya rendering
Now that bring back some memories. New weapons and items are very welcome and I hope they come up with new game modes and item delivery systems to keep this thing addictive!
Hand painted --- Greg Bobrowski. Atilla Gerenyi. Hard surface --- System shock concept. It's a little big to be a prop, it's more of a vehicle/transportation practice. I don't know who the artist is.
Hey, welcome! Great to see you on here :) What engine are you making this for and are you going all out for a portfolio piece or will you try to conform to some system specs? Cheers
Sounds like a weak excuse, if you keep in mind that there's always a superior PC version along the console versions that is always better and utilizes features exclusive to the system. But on consoles it's parity... why?
Implemented a UI patrolling system that follows a path. The player can get seen by the AI when in vision. When the player hides in a box, the enemy loses the player and goes back to patrolling.
You might have a look at these two (found by googling "Kismet Dialog", try that as well): http://www.chrispesce.com/kd.html http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/showthread.php?98422-NPC-Dialog-System
Try the spotlights/soint lights movable, they will give you the best shadowing system and will be dynamic. Use a skeletal mesh/interp actor for you mesh to be sure to benefit of the best lighting possible.
