Got an awesome paintover for the face at crimson daggers. Here is the new face with fresh makeup. I kinda wish i wasn't making something so generic now but i'll soldier on and make it awesome.
Yes, the smile definitely needs more polishing, thanks for the crit! Eyebrows are still placeholder. But don't compare her face to the concept please! That has a pixelated something there just to indicate that 'there is a face'. :) Thanks again!
Or edit normal your mesh (if you are using 3ds max, not sure about other package), so that long this triangle will be facing the same face normal direction and it will minimize the gradient on your normal map.
I see, i figured it's somthing to do with the face having too many vertices, i did stumble upon a fix somehow in mesh>clean up>split concave faces. thanks for the help
@ClusterOne Isn't that too much of a baby face ? Short eyes, very rounded face, and quite shallow cheekbones. Would love to see your update though :) Your sculpt looks so clean !
small update before going to bed, tweaked a bunch of stuff but everything except for the face are placeholders at the moment, still want to tweak the textures on the face to try and push it further, hopefully will be able to do it this weekend
Looks a little too ape-like, but, keep going. After some skulls, you will want to learn of Face Planes before you try to sculpt actual anatomical face. Make more skulls
Haven't really had time to do much lately. Still figuring out face structure and what not. Fiber-mesh stuff is just place holder to see how the face would look with beard.

Here are my last couple updates! Did a major pass on the face and anatomy and started detailing the face a bit. Started sculpting on the undersuit shirt as well so hope to post more progress soon!
