Last week was my first time going to GDC solo, so it was nice getting to meet some of you! I feel like Ana's biotic rifle is what completes her design, so I can't leave it out! Blockout so far:
Do you think a keyboard like this [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Kinesis-KB700PB-US-Freestyle-Solo-Keyboard/dp/B0016A0RLA[/ame] would work? You could split it and put one half on either side :D and then draw with your mouth haha
Why would textures stop with tweaking of the lights? We are trying a few styles at the moment with lighting but none of the team are excited about over doing the level of light in this room simple because Steambolt always works a solo night shift.
Hi all - just wanted to bump this for a quick update: solo entries are now allowed in the Art and Animation contest! If you do want to partner with someone though, feel free to join our Slack: http://goo.gl/forms/GizJxCTFwc7d9dvj1
yeah it was pretty funny how all of the endgame is already cleared, seems like they made things way too easy, i had crap gear on my warrior yet i was easily soloing group quest elites... hmmm
Doom. We already had an IPX network set up at the time we got it, so alot of fun was had in episode 1 and 2 :P Before that, it was just Bolo via appletalk or 688 via null modem cable.
Terror set concept WIP. Stuff might change a bit. Also would be open to collab on this one as I'm currently working on one personal set solo. Edit: Also looking for crits to see if I can improve this design if people have any ideas!
Here is our Throne Room entry it is inspired by Kublai Khan's throne room from the Marco Polo series. WIP thread: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2232496 Software used: Maya Zbrush Photoshop nDo2 Substance Designer Unreal Engine 4
Deciding to go solo on this. Model and texturing using substance painter and designer. a big of Photoshop for last minute adjustment but i doubt it. i am a 3d arist (modeler and texture artist) Here are some ref images to get an idea of what i want to complete.
love it - but the water...normally it ha pretty equal colos like the sky..and in you case it pops out pretty strong..too strong for my taste. i think it strikes against the other elements in the picture - which are pretty cool! it should reflect/support them.
