Names are definitely trademarked but I've never heard of anyone running into issues over designs. For example when Valve picked up counterstrike they renamed all of the weapons but the models are still the same as ever.
the bone structure should be the same you just got to rename them to the current names so just decompile a existing model figures out the naming scheme on the bones and edit it with maya or blender.
Scizz - Do you remember roughly how many and which materials you lost? We have acutally removed a few materials between different versions, but mostly they have been renamed!
Yeah, File -> Merge will do this (unless they renamed it in recent releases). It gives you a list of all the objects in the scene and you can choose any selection of objects to import directly from the scene.
Grab the latest installer and reinstall to a new directory. The default is */Quixel SUITE 2.0/ - try renaming it to 2.3 just to bypass any weird registry issues that might have surfaced from a reinstallation.
^ I think "Games that should not existed" should be renamed to "Games that should have been stopped being worked on the moment everyone realized this wasn't going well". DaiKatana and SoulStorm come to mind.
If this can be done with the vpk override you might be able to use the compile from the importer, just rename all these to the fish name, and just use the cloth file from the decompile with that Vovosunt mentioned
Yes I have the resolution at 1024. I thought maybe the file was corrupt so I re-opened it in Photoshop but it's fine. Renaming the file doesn't change anything and neither does downscaling. :/
nope! It was actually renamed a while back its now called the "mobile web and gaming" thread to keep up with the times. Lots of great stuff! http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41232
I got rid of it and then it came back. And disabling of services didnt work at all this time. I cant remember what I did to fix it, I think I renamed the file or something.
