now that your digging in the sdk do you know if its viable to extend editable poly to include your quad chamfer script. I use it quite a bit but allways end up wishing that it was native rather than scripted (previews are damn slow.)
et voila, this'll cut a keypress off. save the script in your script startup folder. run it. Go to customise UI click the keyborad tab set the category to "rt_ui_tools" click 'switch to perspective and frame' click into hotkey and press P click assign
The script seems to work fine, seriously man thanks alot! I've seen the "directional move" script aswell, wasnt sure, but maby I should give it a try. Anyway, pinstack is gonna make my time in max alot more pleasant =D
I've been using J. Haywood's scripts and Polyboost. Maybe asking about specific functions would be easier, been awhile since I've had to use Chuggnutt's and I can't remember whats built in now, and what still needs a script assist.
Hi, =) I just found a free script for maya recently. And I think it helps you. ;) https://www.artstation.com/marketplace/p/P1kY/mel-fan-connect-script?utm_source=artstation&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=homepage&utm_term=marketplace
I've not found anything indicating that's possible to do. I've seen others use a script as a workaround that centers all the objects to 0,0,0 upon export. Farfarer provided such a script in this thread, but I don't know if it works in newer versions of Modo.
@JaySmitt really worth it, there's over 4 hours of video just on scripts and workflow alone. Though 3 scripts that are used you have to pay for but personally they are really worth it. Thanks, I hope to post a worthy update by the end of the week.
If you are a maya user you can check out my render ready script on Creative Crash. http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/marketplace/scripts-plugins/utility-external/misc/c/render-ready-and-city-builder-release--2
UV deluxe has a script that does that and it's free http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/texturing/c/uvdeluxe I actually use UV Ninja, but thats costs a few bucks (Worth every penny in my opinion)
Looks like I am in need of an upgrade then haha. I bought the indie version on Steam awhile back, we don't have scripting or any support for custom commands and those Seneca scripts look really really good :(
