Feckin badass Hntrluc! Most excellent sense of mass on this guy. The anatomy's lookin real good but there are a few points that I think could use some work: The aponeurosis of the triceps (the single thick muscle that goes from the elbow and slips between/under the two triceps muscles on the upper back of the arm) should…
biofrost: Much better, nice update! You have what looks like paint splatters where the bare metal meets the colored metal border on the bottom. What is that? If it's paint, then you might want to adjust the normal and spec for those splotches (find photo refs to help). Otherwise, I would remove those too. When adding…
hey man thanks for the feedback and i couldn't agree more on most of it ^^ 1 - dunno i thought it pretty much fit with the body, but compared t all the cloth and heavy leather all around they appear to be quite thin, i agree, but i kinda like that contrast 2 - totally agree, thought about that as wellm, but usually if you…
Hey Throttlekitty, check your proportions cause they seem to be a bit off. If you look at a young antelope you will see that some proportions like the nose and body shape are a bit off. As for antelope ref pics, maybe this will help? It has lots of pics of various antelopes. I havent really gone through all of them but it…
@holi: i really like the cat, you've got some great shapes goin on, maybe the delta is to much divided into seperate strands, but that could be personal taste. But there are few things which i think are not just personal taste, the pants look very blobby right now, of course this could be wip and is therefore not done yet…
that has worried me a little since the beginning but I would like to think most people are using some sort of reference, jumping in blind is a recipe for disaster. Im gonna probably add some tips and tricks to the thread soon so people can take full advantage of it, Im no expert myself but it should help some people out.…
I would recommend removing geometry; notoriously lots of edges don't do well with turbosmooth, only when you need really complicated shapes, but in my experience that's really on of the only situations where the shouted rule "moar geo!" helps. in general, and certainly when creating large shapes, less geo is the way to go.…
Thanks a lot, Kelvin! :) Suburbum - Now that I look at that area, I definitely see what you're saying. It's a tricky spot :P Thanks! If i fiddle with the paint a bit more, I'll deal with that area :) gauss - Thanks so much for the detailed critique! You know what's ridiculous? I knew the eyes were slightly off. But I…
larolaro: you have such a fun style man. love it Swizzle, awesome concept, nice colours. but as Scudz said there are proportion issues especially in the length of the legs and feet. Also on that right hand image, the left arm and leg look awkward and misplaced, as if they don't comply with the laws of perspective…
@ confracto: At first I was like: "I was wrong? On the Internet?! How can it be?!!" So I ran through the house ( actually just through one large room as I'm living in a flat ) looking for that dusty box with old Games that won't play without a DOS-Emulator ( big box, very dusty *cough* ) and found the MechWarrior 2: 31st…
