Really need to get into the habit of posting a lot more! Found a speed sculpt model I did a few weeks ago now alongside some friends during our deadline week, I think a rough polypainted version exists but I haven't found that one yet. Overall pretty pleased considering how quick it took,
Did a quick sketch a while back that I thought I'd try and turn into a low res 3D model at some point. First image - concept 2nd/3rd/4th image - Started some basic sculpting in Zbrush, before I got side tracked with other projects :shifty: I like to think I'll come back and finish it one day...
meh i was just too lazy to do it again and again i did it 3 times at some point it had to be enough :D i mean i had a video a few weeks ago with sculpting from a simple basemesh, thats not thaaaaaat different to a plane, in fact i guess its better becaue you can do ears xD
seforin: Thanks, all of these I started in mudbox, sculpted up to around level 4, then imported into Zbrush3. I saw somebody use this technique on Zbrush Central and thought I'd try it out. I love the simplicity of Mudbox and the more complex tools of Zbrush. The sharp edges I did in Zbrush with the pinch tool and Lazy…
anatomy is .. yeah *cough* that neck..... 1 hour dynamesh doodle after browsing through cghub.com and seeing a drawing by Darren Bartley (fightpunch).. Not exactly true to the original and not overly detailed but I was mainly trying for the shape and proportions to get a "believable" char from a quick glance. -Basically a…
Awesome, thanks for the details my friend, I really enjoy all your sculpts. They all have so much "life" to them! Great stuff. I really need to try claytubes more, I usually just use clay/move topological/standard (low intensity/hpolish. I had no idea there were videos on your channel... going now :)
Hi all. First time posting here. I'm currently in the process of updating my portfolio and want to get some stylized characters in there. This is the character that I'll be working over the next couple of weeks and thought I'd get people's opinions, so any feedback is more than appreciated. This is the fist base sculpt,…
A couple speed sculpts of mine. Last year, I'd planned to do one a day which I managed to do for a few weeks.. but then life-stuff came along and sideswiped that plan. It'd be good to get back into it. Anyway.. the old man portrait took about 45 min. Raph took about an hour and some change and was super difficult to stop…
first classical model since... erm eons inspired by Japhir and the will to do something "oldschool", my modelling has become quite rusty, 3 hrs or so with a lot of breaks, i guess with sculpting i would have been faster, as i'm not modelling anything complex these days @swizzle: i like that hulk of yours @jasp: haha great…
First time posting in this thread as well, trying to get more into sculpting and do some general improving. Did these during some down time at work, spent an hour and 30 minutes on the first 2, the second is the same as the first one but with difrent proportions and some added details. Last one took me around 30 minutes.…
