How to model the cells of the Tron Light Cycle? I work with Modo 501 and Subdiv (TAB keyboard key) Thank you in advance to my saviors You will find my base mesh in the archive
Takes a little fiddling, it's harder now that you can't give a relative path to the license file since 501, but yeah. Harder on Mac, though. http://forums.luxology.com/topic.aspx?f=37&t=68584
Because it's a 500 polygon or less thread, not a sliding scale of what's some random person interprets 'low poly'. As nice as it looks, if it's 501 or more, it doesn't belong in the 500 or less thread.
Ive been away from 3d for some months and I needed something to remove the rust from myself :P Zbrush: Low Poly rendered in Marmoset: The Subd Model was made in Modo 501 and the details in Zbrush.
And I'd like to add that you have a choice to NOT update your Modo as well. Current version is 901, but if you own 801, 701, 601, 501 etc etc, you are free to use those. Updating is your choice.
If you plan to sculpt in mudbox or modo 501 it would be a good idea to UV before sculpting that way if you want to do any texture painting on the high resolution mesh it won't be a problem. UVing a high resolution mesh is generally pretty difficult...
I met a boy wearing Vans, 501s, and a dope beastie T, nipple rings, and New tattoos that claimed that he was O-G-T, from '92--the first EP. Oh yeah, happy annual anniversary of the day of your birth.
http://www.edharriss.com/tutorials/tutorial_subd_edge_vertex_crease_xsi/tutorial_subd_xsi_edge_vertex_crease.htm I think the only one that was using a different subdivision algorithm from the other software was modo (till 501?), Max still uses its own. Even Cinema 4D had it from the beginning with edge and vertex weight:
Update... After the patching, I started the game, and after I loaded in, it freezed again almost instantly. I was watching the temperatures on the secondary monitor, and actually this time it wasn't too hot. The cpu cores and the gpu was also on 50C. This started being confusing.
Hardsurface environment is quite a nice! No idea who the artist is? EDIT: I did some research, it's a map called Factory 501, from a game called Skyforge. The artist should be him: https://www.artstation.com/dmitrysmirnov but I'm not 100% sure. Can't find the concept artist though.
