Oh man, I just had the same issue here at work with Zbrush 3.5. I am not using it after this model. I am going back to 3.1. I needed to go back and forth to use Decimation Master in 3.1 and got horrible scaling issues. So 3.1 it is I never had scaling issues with that. -

The dotted strokes can't be fixed for 3.5 as far as i know, i tried all what was said in Zbrushcentral, but nothing. It's something that 3.1 didn't have. 3.1 was very nice, fast and smooth strokes, but with 3.5, they fucked all, cool tools i don't use and a huge lack of perfomance compared to 3.1. Does anyone know whether I can have both 3.1 and 3.5 at once? I remember that someone was talking about having 3.0 and 3.1 on a machine, so I´m wondering whether it´s possible with 3.1 and 3.5 and how? Just install it again into another directory? Doesn´t it give any license (or better said activation) problems? thx -
