If you want a printer, Canon offers good ones and most importantly the ink carts are cheap (never buy cheap printers, BTW!). Or go for a laser printer. Laser printers tend to make up for their cost quickly after you've printed a few university course scripts. -

I would just invest in a 3D scanner if you really wanted to make the "better than picture" versions. The SENSE isn't bad for its price. On CS3 (and CS4?) I had a really strange issue here at work. If I had set a certain network printer as my Default Printer in Windows then Photoshop would crash whenever I opened a second image in Photoshop. Update: After doing some research online it seams to be a printer issue. Try removing any shared/network printers from the offending machines. http://www.foto1.com/ they are located in the US (Ann Arbor, Michigan)... but have a Lightjet printer there that produces phoenominal results. The printer works via emulsion, similar to how photographs are developed. The benefit of using this style of printer is that you dont have to worry about the limitations of the CMYK… -
