@JadeEyePanda Thank you for critique. Her pelvis area and her breasts are need to be fixed 100%. About render, thanks) I rendered in KeyShot. All render settings were default, only 128 samples instead 16) @Legion_studios Haha, I was thinking about this character too) but this Kitty is a little bit more aggressive :)
it's to be taken around to various events to help promote nintendo. trying to get on the team and hopefully get them to take it down to the penny-arcade expo. i'm doing some newer/ touched up renders at the moment. should have something to show tomorrow morning as the renders take a long time to render cause of reflections…
SICK model! And thanks for sharing the rendering tips, I made myself a quick PSD combining your HP render and the tips you gave me. I'm excited to try it out later on! Don't worry, it's got you name on it for when I give it out to my friends when they need a bad ass render. XD
I have to agree with what Temppe has said in terms of presentation. I would definitely recommend taking some more time of final renders. As said already, viewport renders are fine at the end of a portfolio presentation to show a little peek behind the scenes. I don't think your character work is bad, but it's hard to tell…
It's a bit pedantic but 'How was it done?' and 'How can it be done?' are two different questions. How was it done? Likely sculpted in Zbrush. Probably using a combination of custom alphas and brushes for the smaller details. (Possibly incorporating some remeshing or retopology steps to refine the larger shapes.) Sculpting…
Hey, congrats on finishing the character! No full body renders though (ah I see, Artstation project has them)? Presentation-wise the materials look a bit matte, perhaps another light coming from the side to add some specular highlights, in particular on glasses and skin. I think the wrinkles of the face could be a bit more…
Hey, cool project :+1: Some aspects I think you could improve: * man-made structures could be grounded more in the environment by adding some weathering and (dirt) gradients. * spiraling trunks look too artificial. You can counter this by introducing more irregularity and more stretch. * Tree trunks colors is currently a…
Natron has lots of weird glitches imo. Its cryptomatte node can't read exr from Octane properly for example. And also all those 2d compositors are focused on video sequences , not texture re-compositing. Not very convenient for the task really. I would say there is no easy, simple to use and flexible enough program to…
Hi Polycount! In my neverending adventure of unemployment I've been enjoying recording some of my personal projects and uploading them to Youtube, so I thought I could share them here too. Here's a fanart of Jeanette from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines I just finished recently.…
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Yeah the more I look at it the flat emissions starts looking weird! So you're thinking turn the slop into a proper staircase? I can definitely try it out! Appreciate it. As for the renders, these are just screenshots of unity. They aren't necessarily renders yet :) So ill make sure to crop it…
