Yessir, pure oval brush in PS-CS6. Thank you!! I think rendering and stuff is finally making sense to me, still feel clumsy though. But I think I'm sort of ... drawing more than painting it? It's horribly inefficient but it is what it is. -

I've been trying to get better at rendering lately so I thought I'd share. I used to spend a lot of time drawing only details and spending countless hours being a perfectionist. That needs to change, so here is my attempt at more loose work.
Striker: I agree with Zeno, awesome use of colors man, love the style but a photo ref for the perspective will help you a lot :) Allan-P: Love it! Nice mix of soft and hard edge, your more rendered stuff is sweet! heres some Black and white doodles:
