Iv spent way to much time on her and im just going to push her out of the way and move onto something else all im going to do now is make her hair short with plans instead of maya hair or fibers. Would love some comments and critiques.
started the texture on this one. I dunno why, but it's frustrating me to the highest level. It's not even slightly acceptable as of now (just talking 'bout the face) and it's really bugging me. Other than that, the normal is baking juuuuust fine, so I really have to push the hell out of that diff~~ meh
HA! I didn't even know they released this set of videos. It was a lot of fun developing the concept and sculpt, but recording everything was a nightmare. Anyway, you've got a bad case of bulgy eye going on. I'd suggest either bringing his brow and cheekbones forward or pushing his eye back.
MattW - hey that looks nice, maybe add some eandom dirt and scratc on the wall to reduce repetition AtomicClucker - get dropbox dude, extremely easy to use and quite reliable. Envelope and barnesy - i got what u guys mean, will try to push the contrast more, thanks
I'm not an anatomy god - but these were some quick observations hope you find this helpful The face looks great though, and the hands may not need to be shrunk- I think I had to do that after I elongated them in photoshop I also pushed her hips out a bit with liquify
Watched some boring vids on low-poly modeling for characters, then watched figure skating with a few friends followed by some Killzone, so I got the stupid idea for "Combat Figure Skating," so caught the kernel of the idea before it fled. Now time to get some reference material and push it.
Here is a model im making atm alongside many other projects, im trying to make a realistic head bust of a builder just to push myself. Sculpt is almost done now, he needs a set of teeth and throat, the straps round for the hat and some stiching on the yellow jacket thing that they wear.
ZacD - Thanks for the comment. I'll try to push those elements further. This is going into a unity/Ipad game... so I'll see how much I can work it before hitting shader limitations. Bengi - Definitely bookmarked that. I'll have to sit down with a cup of tea and dig through that :D Thanks for the link!
Thanks @stabbington. The environment is all baked in, the characters are realtime. The jury asked us the same question. We didn't create anything of the concept are assets before starting the jam this friday. We started with a heavy brainstorm and pushed this concept out in about 4 hours. The other hours were ust focussed…
It's been too long O.O I'm trying to make time for a side project and make some personal pieces again. Anyway, here's my latest thing from League of Legends. I wish I had more time to push the texture, but she had to be done a week ahead of schedule. Still hope you guys enjoy it.
