Cant help but thinking that statue is going to fall over, but mabey its just me Alberto. Here is a pirate, thought I was done but a friend of mine convinced me that I should try to do a lowpoly and rig/animate the face because they thought it was to cool a piece to pass up.
I wouldn't say this needs to be realistic in so many aspects. However I raised the water line a bit, reduced the number of guns, placed them differently.. I'm starting on the lowpoly as you can see sort of still flushing out idea's in one part while I'm starting the other.
@ kaoticvisions the concept is from Anthony Francisco while he was doing work for Project Offset, unfortunately intel canceled the project. @ Firebert thanks, I'll definitely get up a decent render once I get more of the sculpt done. still need a decent anatomy pass on him and then onto the lowpoly.
splendid concept max! almighty_gir: obiwan matches great. currently i'm pushig this scene forward dont know how far i'll go. only bump maps used so far. currently only a mental ray rendering with a silly glare camera filter on it :D heavy use of lowpoly support edges and dirtmaps
Baked the lowpoly of my Planetcracker! Two textures packs with normal/spec/diff/glow, some parts still need to be (re)baked. Just throw a basic material and some colors on it. Now its NDO time, creating more surface detail like on top of the "arm" in second picture. Pics are made with Xoliulshader, 3ds Max.
