GAGGGGHHHHhhh choco those are beautiful! I`m currently working in cry-engine terrain, and your stuff makes mine look quite literally like a pile of cat turds.
Choco: Love them rocks! Looks neat in the engine too :D You're using them on the rock meshes in the back? Just apply to a rock shape then cut and extrude to match?
siiickkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Are the beaufighter's cylinders really that stumpy? And no push rods? Exhaust manifolds? Excuse my error if it doesn't have these things, i'm mostly familiar with ww1 and 1920s aero engines
It's coming along...I think the 4 stacked exhausts should cough up a nice flame when racing. Airbox/engine cover is the only thing left to model/unwrap, huzzah!
Yeah I wish we could! The engine is old and limited, no source code. We can spawn a model of debris, but we'd have to hand animate it all - there's no physics based motion or anything like that. :(
Awesome stuff! Using Unity? How's that going for you? It's a pretty awesome engine. @thankupon@ Add some grunge to it? Scratches and the like. PRobably make it more interesting. Good work so far though!
well, gunna mudbox the cowl and engine (particularly the exhaust and intake manifolds) before baking ofc. not sure why there's four rocker arms per cylinder btw. seems to be the deal irl though. closeup:
SeanEG - Looking pretty good dude. Hopefully the engine work won't wreck the texture detail with those nifty shadow blots it likes so much. Here's some progress on my pilot lady. BATTLE ARMOR!!!
i did that engine a while back, i thought its not detailed enough but if u say so i guess that will do thing is, its pretty small parts and you will hardly notice those on the final model :)
