I haven't seen anything like that specifically but I haven't dropped anything out in the street... I also remember them saying that if you say...sabotaged a saw mill that like, the economy for that town might get worse. And from what I can tell, I'm wondering how in the hell we're supposed to sabotage anything? They also…
Ho-ly shit this game. I thought the thieves guild quests where pretty cool, it feels more like I'm being a spy than a thief. Being sent out to other cities to preform corporate espionage, work over contacts and such. but shit just got real on my last mission. aside from the plot I don't want to reveal, it involved me and…
Am I the only one who hates that chests, crates, boxes, etc. do NOT display categories? In all the other TES/FO games containers displayed categories. That already was a problem with dozends of items but now there are no categories at all meaning that one got to scrool though hundrets of them. Also the items are sorted…
This game is huge. Picked it up at midnight last night, my wife and I played it for about 7 hours in total. This game feels drastically different than Oblivion to me. If you were expecting to step out into the world and explore like crazy kicking ass - think again. I tried walking from where you pop out to uh...some city…
I just want to say thanks to all the people who worked on this game and may be reading this thread. Playing Skyrim has renewed my faith in RPG's. It's the first time I have felt immersed in a game since... well since Majora's Mask, perhaps. Sure, I could point out a few things I thought would be better, but seriously,…
Because if you're going to wing it and say 'Skirym has reused assets' you might as well say the same thing of ALL games. I don't understand what you were expecting. It's a game with finite resources, they have to optimize and make sure it runs on most machines, if you want bleeding edge state of the art unique textures for…
I'll start out by saying i dont mind the RPG genre at all. RPG's and stats as a "Thing"... I guess a game like WoW or FF7 are clearer examples, whereby grinding is required in order for you to overcome problems. However its only really an issue in WoW when you play a meatshield kinda character, that has to trade blows...…
Well played the game pretty much the entire day yesterday. Still only about level 8. Really enjoying it, can tell I'll be playing the hell out of it. Having experienced the awe of first stepping out into Skyrim and having a chance to mess around with several things now, there are a few things I'm disappointed with though.…
Try using Grand Soul Gems you nut. The effect of the enchant scales with the size of the Soul Gem. While a Common Soul Gem will only add say 3 health a Grand Soul Gem adds 20. It was the same way in Oblivion. Also if you were so invested in enchanting you surely put perks into the Enchanting tree? I don't even have any…
I wouldn't say Skyrim is linear compared to 99% of games that are made these days, but I do agree that it lacks certain things in terms of diversity and freedom that Oblivion had. Let's look at a few examples: * Only one, weird, linear quest to get into the Dark Brotherhood. No longer do you get to make the really fun…
