The flower thing happened earlier in the same episode with the younger sister calming her down, and (according to Talking dead) it was also in the scene when their father died earlier in the season. I'm not gonna touch the breast-milk-farming thing though...
Oh that redneck boy, I thought you where talking about his brother, ha! In that case yea it felt tacked on. But they are probably trying to humanize him a bit so when he meets back up with is brother there is more drama...
I think the second half of series 2 is really picking up, stuff's happening again. I didn't mind all the talking and slow pace of the first half in the autumn, but I'm definitely glad the pace is picking up again. :D
I agree with Skanker, in the future I'll only be using spoiler tags to talk about things that happened in the comic that haven't happened in the show yet. If you're reading this thread and you haven't seen the show then its your own damn fault. In the comic...
On the Talking Dead I believe the show runner said it was about 3-4 months. They've announced the casting of a few major characters from the comics which makes me think things are going to move pretty swiftly this season. But I could be wrong.
did the CDC actually have an isolated virus? I remember them talking about a tissue sample but not a viral culture. the reason I ask is that when Shane was turning there were weird flashes like an angry animal or something. Is a supernatural cause ruled out?
it's cool that they're exploring what you said. examining how perspectives have changed so much with all these crazy experiences. Morgan keeps talking about "people can change", what he's failing to realize is they can also change for the worse! also
Andreas, I think you have no idea what you're talking about. It's a whole new world, and people act completely different. And pretty sure How you think this was a bad episode, I cant even fathom. You're the first who didnt like it.
Did he? All we heard was a gun shot. I know what you're saying, from the comic, but there is a lot of questions surrounding how they treated it, including the Talking Dead. I'm not saying I'll be surprised if she is dead. I'm just suggesting that she may NOT be ;)
See I think that just reinforces the idea that the show works better when watched all at once. Everything I heard about season 2 was the same, that it was too drawn out and boring, but I wasn't able to watch it until after it wrapped and found that while it drag a little in the middle, it kept a pretty good pace throughout…
