Did you make sure you created, saved and applied 2 separate materials to the meshes? The default material thats assigned to the mesh will go wacko unless you create and apply a new material to the mesh you want it on.
Hi all, I created a set of skies using the sky tool, with a shadow image. When saved it created 8 files, which I can open fine. Then I copied theses skies over to an other computer. Did not touched anything. But can't laod them. When I load the .env file, the skydome does not change. Am I missig something here? Is there…
In the marmoset folder, all of your content should be under that folder structure(unless the relative path thing has changed recently). Also, if you're loading you OBJ again, that would be a problem too. You need to load the .mesh file that toolbag saves.
@Jeff, I dont suppose you good chaps are planning on creating an option where a user could save the interface settings (FOV, DOF, Normal Swizzle, Sky Lighting type, Sky brightness etc.) and have them load upon start are you?
Thanks Daelus! I was having this same problem. After thinking I was so smart and imported it into Photoshop I found that I couldn't Save As a jpeg. I should have checked Polycount hours ago. Problem solved... Now I can sleep.
Hey Earthquake. Well as you can see the saved screenshots are coming out weird and the toolbag is showing an alpha without any textures loaded at all. So it's somehow picking up an alpha, I don't know where though. http://gyazo.com/30742a60a2bd79f0dd956957ac7293f7
Wow, really? Maybe we got this wrong. I'll make a note to check this for future releases. Did the files successfully create, or is toolbag unable to write its config files? The new DOF effect is more taxing on the hardware, and trips up some older drivers. We found some machines here in the office which didn't work with…
It sounds like the assets might be in a different location on your hard drive than where you initially saved them (Marmoset doesn't remap paths relatively) If you open the .tbag and .mat files in notepad, you will be able to see the original paths in there somewhere. Hope that helps!
i have some few issues here, 1) in the first image, the hair transparency map is working with alpha to coverage turned on. however, i'm getting a halo around it where an outline shows through and is clearer seen when the transparent smaller planes are on top of the main hair surface. Just to prove it is not a problem with…
Hey guys, So long story short, I lost my original model that I saved as a mesh file, but now I can't import it into 3Ds Max. I can open the original model in marmoset, and I see it, but I have no idea how to get it back in max. Help?
