It's the GPU's RAM that you need to be looking at, rather than your system RAM. With 11 materials coming in at 2805mb plus a around 170mb or so for rendering overheads, you are prob. very close to maxing out your GPU's memory (2975mb), which explains why you are getting lag. For the popping issue, you might want to try…
Several people have requested this, how come? Is a sequence of images easier to work with than raw video somehow? The recording performance would not improve as TGA frames would be uncompressed bloat-mongers just like our AVI frames are now.
Handplane does not currently have a "Toolbag" preset and none of them will match 100%, though Maya 2012 is probably the closest. In Toolbag 2.0 we plan on supporting a variety of tangent spaces though. Can you post an image of your problem?
Ok cool, yeah the HDR format doesn't support alpha channels. You can get around this by saving and HDR file, and then saving a second shot from the same angle with HDR turned off, and grabbing the alpha channel from the LDR image.
hi I would like to ask is there anyway to output an image from marmosette bigger than the screen at 300dpi?. i know you can output at x2 up to x5 but it creates weird artifacts even if you maximize the super sampling. Thanks
Can you post an image of your problem? Currently I think the way the gloss function works, is by making the diffuse and specular on those areas *very* bright. So you may actually need to have some detail to the specular for it to show up.
What file type are you saving out? Does it happen when you try different file types? To get around this: 1. Open your image in photoshop. 2. Go to: ..\MarmosetToolbag\base\interface\toolbag\ 3. Open watermark.tga in photoshop 4. Copy and paste watermark.tga (after you've resized/edited/etc) onto your image. 5. Set the…
I have to say I'm not sure what your exact problem is here. You mention that it resets to "best guess" when you load it, but both of your screenshots are from the Sky Tool. After you process your image in the Sky Tool, you will save out a .env file, and then load that .env file in the Light tab in Toolbag. The sky tutorial…
Show off :) Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but for Toolbag 2, a more intuitive way to set output resolution would be great. Unless I'm missing something, the only way to set image res is by the window size. Settings for 1080P, 720P, or custom would be awesome.
