is there anyone post a tut about how to reset the object pivot? it confused me long time ...everytime i combine two objects and use ctrl + q or ctrl + w to make it symmetry ..then i will get two different axis .. so what problem or i miss anything ?
Alright, I'll try this as soon as it downloads. I had another question though, how do you break off part of a mesh into a new object? There's split, but that only works for seperate meshes in one object (which, when importing an obj, doesn't work as it's all merged into the same mesh).

I'm having some issues with clipping. The viewport is acting like the object I'm working on is really small but it fills the entire grid area. See first attached image. Also when I rotate or move through the object, I get exploding polys. See last 2 attached images.
yeah, it's basically like you have a targeted camera, and the target is where the camera points at/rotates around. so if you pan left, the target moves left with the camera. f6 aligns the target to your object, but you can still move the target off the object by panning (probably the cause of your frustration) It's…

SsSandu_C: I see what you mean. But what if you hold shift and want to select the object behind? As in the current solution, you can undo the selection if it selects the wrong object, then click to select again, eventually you will get what you want. Edit: Maybe I should add an option for this.
