Transferred my ZBrush morphs to shape keys in Blender for my current character. The original "sleepy" expression is for baking, and the "neutral" is for final rendering. The neutral is also going to be useful for placing the eyelashes. Carefully sculpted those as layers in ZBrush to represent the neutral expression as a…
Maya controls are built explicitly to be used with a tablet. Personally I prefer Maya navigation to ZBrush navigation, and it's very easy to set up Maya-style navigation in Blender. That's how I have it.
You can change the viewport rotation to a zbrush/modo style one I think it's called free orbit or something but I'm not at my PC at the moment. Otherwise fspy comes to mind for me too
Now if only we could get a great remeshing function! The more freehand approach of Zbrush's Dynamesh hinges on a 'good enough' single-click remeshing solution, and that in combination with Blender's dyntopo would be fantastic.
Hi all - is there a version of GoB that works between Blender 2.78 and Zbrush 4R7 ? Either GoB, or any other addon that would let one send a model to Zbrush in one click, and bring it back in one click. Even a Autohotkey script automatically writing/reading a dummy .obj file on the desktop would be fine. Best would be for…
Very handy for rendering polypainted stuff sent over from ZBrush with GoB  And one can slap in color correction nodes and adjust roughness and so on if the paintjob isn't looking exactly as intended in the render.
Does anyone know if it is possible to make a clipping border out of a lasso selection? Box is nice but not adequate for all situations. Also is it possible to hold a hotkey to snap to ortho views while orbiting like in ZBrush?
Does blender's sculpting have anything like zbrush's morph target brush, where you can avoid a destructive workflow and just erase certain parts back to the basemesh? I'm using multires modifier.
Thanks for the thread. And yes I have troubles with different topology. I hoped to use it for dynameshed things from Zbrush ( not very complex) and to fix UV after geometry editing. Can't get it work reliably.
It looks like the dotted line that extends from the vertex doesn't lock the correct edge it uses to slide. If you try to spin it around, you'll see that it have some delay in following the pointer, like Lazy Mouse in Zbrush.
