MACHIN3tools' Customize tool does that. With it at 1 (default), the 'show_all_edges' object wireframe option is useless, as it's always on. But I don't want to have it enabled for the handle objects in MESHmachine. A better way to handle this by the blender devs, would be a per object override value. Or have have a legacy…
Thanks @peris yes, I've tested with all collection objects selected. Same error. I'll keep trying. It's definitely a collections related error as baking single objects works perfectly.
Has anyone ever needed to assign to all objects in a scene using the same material, another one? So for example, we have multiple objects using material A, sometimes along other material slots, and we want to replace this material A with material B, which we have already created in our scene. I only know how to do this…
@FUIOSG be sure that both curve origin and object origins share the same location. Also yo can enable the option to display modifier in edit mode so you can directly work on the object with modification (it's in the modifier header) For simple model as tubes and extrusion, the curve option with taper and bevel object works…
Indeed it's weird, maybe it's a bug linked to the orthographic view? If the objects are porperly named, there's also the option to use alt+select that will pop a menu where you can choose from a list of close objects.
@musashidan I've been monkeying around with the bevel stuff also, are you baking with 2 objects (one with the bevel applied, one without) or are you just using 1 object to bake the bevels out?
@gnoop To simply disable the weird hiding behavior with the number keys, go to your keymap settings, then "3D View" -> "Object Mode" -> "Object Mode (Global)" and uncheck the ten mappings, mapped to the number keys.
When I have an array of objects, plus a curve modifier and curve (so the array instances deform with the curve), is it somehow possible to control the rotation of the individual objects along the curve in more detail? Can I e.g. define weights for the curve points/ vertices, and have the objects rotate/ twist around the…
Peculiar problem. I have an object with some shape keys, and a subdivision surface modifier on it. I have then created a duplicate for editing purposes (clicked the 'Create duplicate for editing' in the drop-down menu in the Shape Keys window). So far so good, but I didn't remove the subdivision modifier first, so the…
