Looks good ruz but I dont know. Maybe uping the contrast/brightness a bit on the uniform? It´s a bit hard to see the details. It´s probably just my monitor.
Yeah. I thought the concept looked really good and I wanted practice with my hard surface modeling as I haven't really done any good pieces in a while.
Photo reference: http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthewadamslife/2967866586/ I never painted in photoshop from just looking at a pic, I think it turned out well, a hard pose to draw.
Awesome awesome sketch Varv... for some reason i really love the elbow / forearm, how you painted the shadows in with such a hard edge is really cool (I like that kinda style).
Learning to hard surface. Cooking device prop for a environment I'm making. Theres some errors in the mesh I still have to kink out before I add more details.
Medestruit, the detailing you have is pretty nice, but I think some of those edges are chamfered/beveled too thin. The edges might look too hard when you bake it down.
wyldcard: don't use the same color for the model and for the background, it really makes it hard to distinguish between them. I think you can actually make your own thread, for specific advice and progress.
