little update: @GCMP: just what almighty_gir said, be more raw and try to draw more basic stuff like little objects (e.g bottles, mp3 player, computer mouse, apple,..). If you take for example comic art even though you see those perfect clean lines they are all based on a very rough pencil sketch where the artists try to…
Fletcher duuuuddee.... your las couple of drawings have been crazy awesome, I can literally see the growth in your skill man, that last piece is great. If you add some colour to it I would love to (maybe) give it a shot in 3d :P
thanks a lot guys, i'm really glad you liked the spud ^^ Here i put a few concepts i drawed on PS for Majestic, drones, insects... I will have finished more little models very soon, with less than 2500tris and one 512x512 texture :D.
Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! Bounchfx: Not sure yet what I will do with the jaw. I kind of like the angular form of it, but it draws maybe too much atention, well we'll see. AdamBrome: it's been a while since i saw the movie. Maybe should see it again then. :)
From figure drawing workshop on 10/29. The model wore one other costume, and this was one of the longer poses (30 minutes). The paper is actually laid out as a portrait, and will put in some wonderland like scene. You can kind of see some of the linework for that in the lower right corner. This was the costume-
SUCKY DRAWER COMING THROUGH! Just got my first own personal wacom and got sidetracked from other stuff. First drawing attempt in ages so i´m fairly happy with the outcome! Perspective and anatomy is tricky stuff and i will try to focus more on these areas. Especially perspective. :)
Finished a laser rifle from a drawing someone else gave me Based off of the last one here, Stock a bit screwed up, and too many vertices in the front on top of the gun. Dunno how to fix that, I guess just not have them so tightly together, but that was the look of the gun.
The model failed to show for tonight's figure drawing class, so we drew portraits of classmates. The eyes are a bit off and there are some other things I'd love to go back and fix, bit I already spent forty minutes on this and it was probably best to call it quits. It's vine and compressed charcoal on newsprint.
thats sweet obson and konstruct!!! Yo jfletcher this is how to construct ovals in perspective. If you want to learn perspective properly though i really recommend scott robertsons dvds. Ive never seen a better intro to perspective. Really worth the money imo.…
Thanks guys. Yeah, I was having some weird alpha issues in the viewport. I was using Xoliul's shader and whenever two planes overlapped in the viewport I'd have drawing order issues. Was happening even when I switched to standard materials, so maybe I messed up a setting or something..or Max is just being dumb.
