Worked well here: Well, if I try to view it with the DX9 graphics driver it tells me the GeForce6800 that I have can't load meshes with more than 1M triangles... but changing to OpenGL it can view it, but loads the OBJ without errors. I will investigate a few more to see if I can detect any error though. ps: omg the camera…
Use a cage to fix both the problems. If you get bad projection errors you'll need to either adjust the cage or add some geometry to compensate near the edges.
Oh, I guess I should mention that when I try to use that high-poly mesh, xNormal gives me an error: "Unexpected error. Can't construct highpoly raytracer" Then I have to switch to the "memory conservative" raycaster and it works. I have 2GB of RAM, which seems like enough, and when it's calculating stuff, I still have half…
I tried to load another high poly mesh to normal map and I still get a "Out of virtual RAM memory" error if I have a Dilation Filter enabled. I had three loaded with a setting of 5. I tried just enabling one of the filters, with the padding still set to 5, and I get the error. If I disable all 3 dilation filters, it works.…
Just installed the .net you pointed me too and restarted the computer (also updated and installed the windows stuff). I get a new error now when trying to open xNormal: "Unexpected error initializing the OpenAL sound driver. Please sure you have a 16bits sound card installed and working!" I have onboard sound; Soundstorm…
Is the sbm exporter supposed to work with Max 6? At the moment I get a dll error when I start Max. I've looked around for a solution to this problem, but haven't found it.
that error happens with the 3.9.2.41613 (for x86)? HAd some hosting problems and there was a corrupted 3.9.2.xxx version for 10mins that you were able to download... so sure the build is 41613, that's the correct one.
Ape , the normal map shows lightning errors , the engine is displaying them , maya high quality renderer aparently doesnt, max does the same in scanline renders. Also dunno why
Sorry if this has been answered jogshy, but I'm getting this error when trying to use the Cuda renderer: I'm running Win7 x64 SP1 and 2x GTS250 cards on the 270.61 drivers.
