yoyomon you could porbably increase the highlighrts giving a more sense of fake directional lightning, check kenneth scott work etc to see what i mean , or any other lowpoly art , looks really good man.
Janne - nice work man :) nightz - Cool, its a nice run cycle with a lot of style! Using Maya, still trying to learn good timing and pose, etc. Think its just a case of practice makes perfect :D
MachineMinded: there's a lot of ways to handle this, but this might be the easiest for you to adapt to: 1. Start with a flat gray texture Optional: bake an AO map and a lighting map based on some nice lights set-up in the editor. This will give you two lighting passes and a lot of great base information to start on. If you…
Great job on that so far Rumblesushi, watched the whole video! The car physics are great. I agree, if possible, to fill in the bottoms of the cars seeming as they can flip over etc. game is coming together nicely though, big track too!
puff long time no posts ! So many hot stuff is around here ! Anyway here is a screenshot from a small project I am working on at this moment. Still need to fix a lot of things like uv map , clouds , vegs , etc.

@Bombshell: You can create two bones and use the copy rotation/copy location constraints to make the weapon bone dynamically parent to the hand bone (by "animating" the influence of the constraints) for when you want the character to hold it or when you want to throw it, etc.
Yea, there is a lot of small details and touch ups to go (hence the WIP), missing cockpit, dodgy lines etc. I just grabbed a cap out of marmoset for fun. I will post a better one when I wrap it up! (probably with wires and flats)
@Gallows Haha, I'm glad to hear that :D Transfering myself to PSX universe: [ edit: ] Quick texture WIP (I'm actually as pale as mr. O'Brien himself, but I took some artistic liberties lol :-|): (also fixed the model a bit: hands, knees etc)
[ QUOTE ] Is there a way to get 100%selflit plus shadows? :\ [/ QUOTE ] Neat lil animation thingy, what you end up doing for that sahding? Used a lambert/blinn/etc/etc ? Or did you find out a way to get the shadows in there... I've been trying to have a 100% lighting + spec hilites + shadows in a model but not too much…
