Working towards a final version using just diffuse and normal. I've gone much more hand painted in my approach than I originally thought I would. Right now I'm starting to work on lighting and composition for the final images. Here are two directions, though I'm leaning towards the one with the orange-ish background.

Hi everybody! I'm currently working on a landscape!! Right now I have finished the base terrain and textures and I'm starting to adding foliage to it :D I'm looking for any good feedback :) so any comments are wellcomed!! http://polycount.com/discussion/163629/ue4-landscape-environment-w-i-p-unreal-engine-4 Cheers, n4uj.
Man I friggin love Substance, so intuitive to dive right into, It's spoilt me rotten lol, returning to stuff like Unreal's mat editor feels almost primitive; manually connecting nodes.. ain't nobody got time for dat jeez haha. Here's my first couple experiments I've been working on; Both 100% substance :)
Crosspost from http://polycount.com/discussion/163645/ue4-crusher A guy i've been working on for a long while now. very enjoyable. lots of technical difficulties, but it's fine now. I might continue with it a little bit more, but right now, this is it. Gotta get him into UT, but I have no idea how to animate.…
Started working on this little environment scene over the last couple days. The goal is to heavily use substance designer / painter and either set it up in Marmoset viewer or UE4. Still working through some of the base high poly work right now, hopefully I'll get the bakes all sorted over the weekend :) Everyone has been…
Lost a bit of detail in the print, but I was pretty thrilled to be able to actually hold something I had sculpted. Printed in 7 pieces using PLA on the ROBO3d R1+ printer. Learned alot about how to break print up in Zbrush as well as do and don't of printing in general. I may make a low poly of this guy next since right…
I'm still working on this scene. It's all Fusion360 for right now. The render is not the best (because I don't have much control over the lighting in Fusion) and there's a lot of rough geo in here, but it's starting to head in a direction (hopefully, a good one :)). Here's a link to my WIP thread.…
Hi everyone, here is a little dragon statue sculpt i've been doing. I'm done with it for now, but will probably revisit the jade material as its bugging me that I could do better. Also people have commented they didn't like the font, its the same as my reference paperweight (mostly) but they're right, I could also do…
Nice texturing work man. The only thing that I can tell you is that you could add more color variety and maybe the texture looks flat at specular / gloss levels. Maybe you could add more contrast... but I don't know exactly if I'm right because I don't have the realtime mesh so I can't play with the lights of the scene.…
