Yeah, seems like everyone got one ArtStation invitation lately and I just got mine as well from Peschiera~thanks man! I still got 19 left, so if anyone interested please PM me we well :)
I'd still be interested the CGHub developer's take on a new site. ArtStation does seem to be doing the business. I hope it translates well to Asia, which is what CGHub did so well, in exposing us to artists we would otherwise never have known about.
Hey, guys! Any chance I could get an invite? Would love to start using ArtStation... Lots of talent flowing there. Plus, I think its layout is really nice to use as a portfolio. Anyway, hope you still have some invites to spare. hahah Cheers!
I like Artstation because I can see cool art without being exposed to the personal views of artists behind them. I'm fine with a forum but please don't add journal entries! It's like when you discover that Chevy Chase is a real dick in person, it's disappointing.

Deviantart is also infested with art thieves, and apparently, the admins won't do a damn thing to help you if your art is stolen and re-uploaded by another user, claiming it's theirs. I've also seen one example where the Admins (or one in this case) can get really abusive and un-professional. Though i do agree, Artstation…
I don't think you should ever feel intimidated uploading work to places like ArtStation. If you look at the Latest section, it's clear that there are artists of all skill levels submitting work. It's also a very good exercise in putting yourself in a vulnerable position. It teaches you to keep some detachment from the work…
