As silly as there characters are, I'm pleasantly surprised how they worked as 3D prints, you've managed to handle the proportions very well. I don't even know how I would go about with making some of those breasts!
It's an interesting challenge, Good luck! I'm looking forward to your solutions! Also: Be sure to model some support stands and beams for your client to print out as well, as that buxom will cause that statue to tip over and smash the table in two.
Nobody posts here but this topic has 35K views, a lot more than anything else I ever posted ^^. So I know you are watching. Perverts. My Halloween pinup : A not-so-weird commission : Other pinups I'm working on. Elvira became the Pumpkin pinup above ( changed the hair and face ), and I'm doing a new Elvira with Lady…
And when I thought they made you do the weirdest stuff... This. This furry on the beach. I'm surprised that the client wanted a body attached to the "boobs"... Anyway, very well executed as always! Is your client planning to have the work printed by another company ?
It surprises me that Shapeways doesn't appear to allow coloured VRML prints given that their Z-Corp sandstone printers should support them. ZBrush exports them natively with the polypaint data embedded in the model - no need for UVs and texture size limitations.
Thanks for the crits guys, I'll work on that today ^^. He just put the mature flag on all of the pics because of huge or nude boobs. I don't like this kind of character either but well, I never did it before, could learn some stuff, and as you say, I'm paid for it ^^. PyrZern : that's exactly the problem : it's flat, so I…
It's a fetish, people without it can't understand I guess. What could be attractive in a furry with enormous boobs and two inflated dicks ? Dunno. But as far as it's not illegal I do it professionnally without judging ^^. HAZ : Lol really ? YOU want to buy something I did ? It's an honor ^^. Shapeways estimated the success…
The barbarian was made for a client who gave me free reins for his character so I made a deal with him, I did a character I wanted to do and then I'll replace the head with his character's head. Took me a lot more time than a normal commission but I can use my character to do a print. I'll probably just do a sandstone and…
Haha no I didnt mean to imply I was judging, obviously whatever the client wants is what the artist should provide as best as possible. Simply Ive never understood that particular niche :P The work really is well made, and the breakdown in printing info has been informative :D
Yeah, it was like this on the ref, and a big ribbon would be more expensive to print ( it's amazing how some centimeters can change the price... ). Anyway, here is the other one. Still need to work on the body a bit, but I'll need to go dynamesh to continue. The next one won't have such massive boobs. ^^
