Dataday - I think I have that exact same green blanket wrapped around my couch (leather seating is torn, but the couch is just so damn comfy). Also, dogs the size of cats are ideal. DOGS!
Eh I'm not a fan of cats or dogs. I think it stems from the fact I was always allergic as a kid. I do have animals though; 1 corn snake, 1 bearded dragon, 2 leopard geckos.
As far as I know, it has always sort of been the case that people of poetic temperament (who often become artists, but sometimes scientists, &c) find cats to be more suitable to their disposition. I far prefer cats. In fact, I'm a bit afraid of dogs, and repulsed at times. I try hard to not impress human qualities onto…
This, I had a shiba inu, but my ex took him with her and I'm glad, cause I'd never be able to give him the attention he needs. Whereas a cat just lays on my lap while I work. :)

He's just a grumpy shit by nature; he's lived in three different environments over the years, urban and rural, and a clean bill of health, so nothing physical or environmental. He was as healthy and spoiled and well looked after as could be. I think, just like people, you get a gamut of personality types in animals. I…
