You can pretty much buy your way into the beta if you haven't gotten in yet, there's a bundle with a whole set of items and stuff which also gives you a beta invite.
run into something weird with spec maps. anyone got any idea why my spec might not be working? seems to be uniformly shiny for some reason, like the whole thing was flat grey.
They still feel so disjointed, as in they appear to belong in two different sets, or the bear is meant to be a standalone. I think altering the color to make the two match is enough to pull the whole set together.
Just started working on a new dagger for Slark, textures are still very basic at this stage. Still pretty new at this whole modelling for Dota thing so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
@cverhoolen Nice work but the textures come out a bit flat in-game making the whole thing look very even from a topdown view. Also, what matcap are you using in Zbrush?
It is really nice that you can vote for all the items in a set with one click now, but the whole queue from greenlight im sort of not sure how i feel just yet.. sort of
Just thought i would wrap this up by saying me and Andrew cleared this up over steam chat, ended up being a really good conversation about item marketing and promotion as a whole :)
This is just one bad photoshop job Notice the smudged edges, visible, bright outline around the wings, lighting mismatch and extensive blurring of the whole screenshot. Anyway his original wings are way cooler.

I plan on editing it into something shorter with some voice overs from me that explains what I'm doing as a tutorial for doing custom Kinetic Gem…
That's how damaged paper looks like use it as reference i've got a question about lowpoly. If i intend to use smoothing on whole surfers, does this mean that i need as twice lower vertice count?
