@Marul - Indeed - i'll get back to it later on. push the eyes a little farther apart, the nose a little higher, mouth a little wider..make the head in general have less human shape. will update...but i have to finish my dark seer set first :)
Sheesh, that's awesome. You guys are rapidly becoming my favorite artists on the workshop. I was thinking of pushing to make a Luna set after my current item, but...mayyyyybe, I 'll hold off on that a little bit :) Speaking of my current item, I have a question and thought maybe someone's whose dug into the data might have…
Holy shiiiit huge update! Congrats to everyone that got stuff in! Happy for all you guys, but honestly I'm a little disappointed I didn't get anything in :( Oh well, gotta push harder! Oh and I love the Storm Spirit redesign and the designs of the other Spirits
Lots of wasted space. Mirror the blade and the lionhead. You can also add a lot more details like a guard or maybe something to spruce up the end of the weapon. Lionhead alone is not enough to make it interesting. You can also push out the blade shapes a bit too.
Interesting with all these sets in the new chests, I wonder if this is a experiment to push out more sets in total, set chests could be a really nice addition! Chests have always been very high income for arguably much less work (Single item vs 5-6)
I thought otherwise until I just watched a Dota Cinema video where they use this Clockwerk set in an actual game and I have to agree. There really needs to be some red accents on the helmet or at least pushed more on the rocket launcher or shoulder to tie it more into Clock's original colours.
Grats on getting items in the game! Looks like they pushed in all the high quality stuff too - the death prophet set, the ember crane set, jeremy klein's stuff, onilolz/zaphk's summons collections, etc. It's all so good. :) I'm holding out that my item comes out in the next wave!
Hawt:I feel like you could also push his back out more to give him a hunch, which would help I think. Bronto is right about trying to make it different from the standard dude, but I really like the sculpting you did on his back right now.
Valve does not have to follow the workshop limits, and they don't. This is not the only hero like this. They need to set these limits so they can ensure all user made sets don't impact performance, and keep a balance between all the items in a set. The workshop limits can be tough, but they can really push you to better…
it's kinda disappointing to see your set getting slowly push down the page as newer sets appears. and see your effort being wasted. but i won't give up, gonna keep going, not gonna give up till at least one set are put into the game. going to make a naga set now.
