WIP #25[More textures + Some lanscape work] Made some more textures improvements. Also work a little bit with landscape, made roads and paths. Add some fx-es from different unreal packages: fire, god-rays
Oh wow - the level of polish on this is AMAZING. The lighting/ shaders and FX really help to pull all this together into a really high quality package. We're seriously getting close to the levels of an animated feature film with titles like this. The future is here now boys!
Characters are really nice! Looks like a VFS demo reel. Maybe it's me but the visitor count doesn't make really professional at the bottom, you should take it out. HR don't need to know how many people visited your portfolio.
Just like at movies/fx to see where games will go. More lighting tech, realtime raytracing, more hdr, glossy reflections, more antialiasing and better filtering, more post effects and compositing in real-time, higher poly/texture limits.
Maybe, just maybe, they'll be able to get Uwe Boll. Weta doing the FX is exciting. I'm not sure how much involvment Jackson will have as an Executive Producer, but at least this means they're putting a reasonable budget in for the movie, which bodes well.
yes, of course it will... there are ways to either continually spawn a new one or simply make it last longer or forever. depending on the use of said fx, you'd make the specific choices on how it was set up
Of course you can do that. Mayas dependency graph /history may not be super convenient for modeling, but its very powerful for rigging, materials, fx, etc, because all aspects of maya are based on it.
I'm in the same boat, I want view dependent fx to work with a fixed-shader system. Velvet and satin in my case, in glTF. Good luck, let me know how it goes.
Have you tried a HLSL or FX shader instead? Should give you much better results than the vanilla Max shader. I think MoP had a decent one with opacity.
I would recomend getting your own webspace. Though are you hosting from VFS because they have that rule about anything you make during your time their belongs to them?
