Looks like smoothing option to me. On top of the screen. Is it set to 0 ? Smoothing averages your movements so you dont get macro lags in your stroke . So indeed there is inertia.
good idea, might be able to add some of that in the lightmap as the floor is a tiling texture or make some alpha decals but I know mobiles dont like large alpha filling up the screen.

You can use some screen recorder to help you record video, it also can help you save the video to avi format. With it, you can capture video to avi easily.
it would be very helpful if you could show us a couple of things: -the design -your current model geometry (wireframe please) & poly budget -the size of it, roughly how large it would be on screen
It can lag if you have a monster long history. Maybe to much on screen or your virus scanner is running in the background? I just don't think there is a key command that auto crashes :p
This is true for Cryengine and UDK at least. For actual work, if you have 2 textures that are this size, and their respective objects are usually on screen simultaneously, it would be a good idea to pack the two into one square texture.
Hi its hard to judge in game with the iso camera view and the screen shots look amazing. How high is the poly count for these game models, or are the high res versions only out sourced?
