I would say if you dont need any GPU renderer its save to work with AMD cards. Redshift is in apha with AMD support. So even there is hope. But Arnold, Renderman XPU and Vray dont get AMD support in the near future.
my primary focus is on games and films, also I'm glad the art deco influence is noticeable, it's a style I really enjoy taking influence from, I've been working on re-arranging and changing up the castle scene to use in the future as well
Raise her arms. It'll make skinning this guy easier for a rigger, and better habit to have for the future. You could push her feet back farther and get abetter S curve out of the legs in the profile view. Better gestural feel.
Few shots of the tower, feedback would be awesome. It's all 100% done in substance designer, picked up a few things I would change if I did it again so that's always good to know for the future. Too much noise on the colour map?
That is not currently possible but it something we will likely add in the future. If you have a good enough GPU you may be able to simply load your highpoly into Toolbag though - on my GXT 980 I've tested scenes with up to 50 million triangles.
what other things would you want to see? I would like to know why, and I prefer it to be near future, or sci-fi, along with being a shooter. Make sure it was popular, and tell me what else you'd like to see in it.
Thank you all so much :) Eric: I'll do that in the future, thanks for the advice! Shyralon, this is 100% handpainted. A shader would definitely have been cool, but since I'm planning on making this a sketchfab diorama I don't think it would be an option.
mines more greenhouse style based, i was playing with a few concepts and went with a desert planet, or the desert here, essentially a abandoned facility in the distant future that just been turned back on. i posted a wip pic in what are you working on thread
sooo much goodness. PC's rocked this one like. side note: Its gonna take an hour just to view all these images. There must be an easier way to display and browse the images. Lessons to be learned for future comp judging on PC, eh ;P
thats all i can see now ! you ruined it for me : ( jks, great work on both of them. i like the female one better but that is just because i prefer the concept perhaps we will see new banners in the near future? : )
