Just a little bit of info about contrast. when you see something like this, DC 8000:1(1000:1) The DC means that it has a flashlight behind it that makes it 8 times brighter. Need more radar dishes at different angles. Radar is going to be your primary means of navigating and detecting threats, but you are currently setup to track objects only along one plain with nothing covering the top or bottom of the ship. Youll also probably want some adjustable thrusters on the front of the ship to help… -

Model from more than just a side reference? It looks like you're modeling from a side ortho only, so you're keeping everything on one plane, which makes it look very boxy. The covenant guns in Halo (that is a halo gun right?) are pretty curvy, try modeling those. it doesn't matter if you start from a box or a cylinder or…
