There are less people at GA who are into the technical stuff than Polycount so when someone asks a workflow/software question, there's less replies to learn from. got HL2 for christmas. installed, decrytpted, updated in less than 2hrs on DIAL UP. now.. HL2DM and CSS are another story. stayed on 98 and 99% respectivly for 8hrs or so. they were taking turns downloading little bits at a time. had to tell it to not auto update either of them and then i had to manually start the game to… -

Depends wether or not the AD is respectworthy and knows what he's talking about. There are a lot of AD's in this bizz that are totally useless imo. There are some goodn's tho. But listening to him blindly without question just 'cos he's the AD? Nah ( from experience ). If we did that on our team we'd never fit the game…
