Thank you very much :) i wasn't aware of the fact, that i'm able to manipulate the source objects for a boolean. I just knew that i was able to transform, scale and rotate them. Fusion looks very powerful as well. I will definitely take a look at it :) how would that work?
Man they should have had this on stage at the keynote. Looks pretty interesting to me its good to see a couple of bigger budget VR titles on the way. I think they sort of stealth announced a wile back that the box the Playstation headset connects to would boost the systems processing power.
It's going pretty nice dude, for the tiles could be nice if you make the bricks over the concrete in high poly and just bake the normals and the ambient oclussion to a square plane (It's always better that way). But crazybump it's a powerful tool also. It's going pretty cool mate! Keep it up! :) Cheers!
coming together nicely! I also agree with veljko, I feel there could be some more follow through after he throws the trident. Maybe he could catch his landing from that powerful throw. The timing on the archer is excellent. Looking forward to more, keep it up.
It was a pleasure to help you guys out on this. The work you and Rick did was AAAA level (yeah I just added an A since y'all took it to another level haha). I think the 2nd screenshot shows the power and beauty of using lit particles, even if they were expensive as shit :)
Oh man you guys! Never underestimate the power of a determined internet. I've taken this link down, we'll be adding a live gallery to our website when it's ready, this was an older version of our GDC Gallery demo, stop by booth #302 at GDC if you want to try the viewer!
Vig.. technically MS has been beaten Apple to this field by a loooongshot, considering the number of windows-powered phones available on the market, and pretty much all of those are media phones... plus they have actual use beyond media with the business / game / etc related software available for them.
I'm gonna need help on the head I'm modeling. I need to see if there anything I need to work on the head. I'm trying to make a model for games and I know i need to be low poly(Edit: Hitting for model good for Xbox 360, PS3, and powerful PC.)
More than likely you would be getting 2k a month after taxes. So do some math and see if you would be able to afford rent, power, water, garbage, food, cable, internet, car payments, and what ever other payments you may have.
Nice man, I really dig the ass on that thing- although I cant help but think your spec map could be dialed in a bit more. do you have control over spec power in your engine? if so- you have no excuse, I DEMAND it be slimier!
