Many high quality rigs seems to be on the way I am pretty sure Order:1886 is going to be using something like this. What would make a rigging reel stand out? This lady got picked as a fresher from Academy of the Art SF with that reel.. If all she did was make a reel that was not amazing why her? -

The problem is that Level design is now dictated by the memory constraints the graphics team places on the engine and the engine's capability itself. Too many games these days suffer from this issue, where the levels themselves never actually change by direct action of the player, or even change while the player is taking… -

I pulled a handbrake 180 into driving reverse trick with one of the super fast sports cars. The lag was bad at the beginning of the beta but the past few weeks has been lag free... and I was playing on the European Beta. -

Not sure how specific to Environment Art you want this list to be but books on Architectural and Design theory are extremely important. Also, the Uncharted 2 Art book only has one chapter devoted to environment art, the rest is mostly character related art - still a great book though despite that disproportionate balance.…
