The UDK was just a screen shot of what it looks like. Im not trying to match up with the AO at the moment, im going to have a slow pan across or something like that
The laptop keys are normal mapped, I'm actually making the keys for the PC and typewriter though. Sure no problem, I'll take some screens when I'm done for the night.
If you're running an nVidia card you can capture your entire screen using Shadowplay. I have captured 1440p 60FPS gameplay from Unity before with this.
I've been looking at this thread everyday in the hopes of seeing some more screens! This is looking really nice, i'm curious as how you will close up the environment though.
Wide - it's easier to work on in PS (because it's closer to your screen's aspect ratio). Although ask the engineers which is better for the engine (in which typically it doesn't matter anymore).
scrolling as in what you see in unreal when the texture scrolls. Like text accross the screen and stuff like that. I know it can be done, but i can't remember.
