Hahaha these are super :D Really great as practice. The generator makes you draw stuff that you havn't done before, it's really good to get out of your comfort zone. Good job!
Completely disagree. I think it's great practice and fun to model all the components of a real life object and fitting them together in 3D, especially if you just started to learn how to model.
This is a bad practice. When you produce content you need to be working in an accurate environment in order to minimize the color inaccuracy to the end user. I put together an image to illustrate what happens:
yeah i have no idea how i'll do that probably 3 or 4 planes with transparency alpha channels want to know how do to that too this will be a normal practice project along with textures
Decided to do a couple more hours into the night and call it done. Gonna participate in the CGMA course soon so I'll prep myself with some anatomy practices. https://www.artstation.com/artist/fpk
Read up on sub-d modelling practices, while not strictly needed for polygonal modeling the challenges they face and the solutions they use can be quite the education on how to create and manage shapes even with polygons.
SO i'm toying with shader forge for a while, but don't understand how to set up the pot effect shader in practice? any example? step by step instruction? I find nothing by googling :(
Nice progress. For heads I know what helps me is practicing just making the planes of the head at a low poly count. I'm on my phone so I'll attach an image later.
Niiiceee. .iam in .. is there a wip thread for ? - mh you have to be on a college ? .. i finished my bachelordegreee 3 weeks ago.. too bad But i think i try it anyway - good practice
Nitrous is the newer viewport tech for 3ds Max. It's supposed to be faster, but in practice it's about the same. For me the real benefit is that the viewports look more like the renderer, and you get nicer shadows in the viewport.
