EQ: Thanks for the advice and ref I'll post an update as soon as I've fixed it :) Ugh, feel supercocky now not giving creds to marmorset, I'll be sure to add the rendered in marmorset stamp on my screengrabs in the future. Thanks for sharing the awsome engine!
I have cleaned up this thread due to the repeated posts from a few people who decided to either snide, inflammatory or generally rude. Please keep future posts on-topic. I will be handing out infractions to those who don't.
PeterK I think your right about the mid level detail but Im not going back to add it. Its all about time, and Ive spent to much on this project as is. I will keep your suggestion in mind on future endevors. Thanks for posting
About time you posted here! Once again kick ass modeling! Here is that image youre talking about: http://www.bobotheseal.com/portfolio/Contract/GR2_heads_high.jpg I can only hope to work with you again in the future! - BoBo
[ QUOTE ] Low poly is love [/ QUOTE ] and mixed with a bit of bill pixel textures with viewport grabs, you can't go wrong! Love heroes, recognised them instantly. If you ever go to texture, please make alternative future versions!!
It's certainly going to be the future. Imagine going to a lazer tag arena with a bunch of friends, but you put on some vr glasses first. The course would already be setup to run with the programmed game with motion detectors everywhere for triggering events. Would be tiiiight.
I’m still seeing downloads and getting questions and also reports that the script still works in Maya 2020. Happy to see that people are finding Pattern Selection useful! Maybe I’ll work on some more tools in the future again... any ideas? ✨
Think about the kind of game you'd be okay with putting 60 hours a week in for potentially, and work towards the immediate future of getting a portfolio that is artistic direction friendly towards such styles. This is especially if you're trying to break in. Breadth will come with time, or other factors.
So much dedicated and precise work, so little appreciation for the result in WIP stage from the community. Love the detail amount of detail you've added, any chance you'll make Leopard 2A7 or T-14 Armata sometime in the distant future?
@Wendy de Boer, Oh my God! Thank you so much for this feedback, It's very helpful! I love how it turned in the paint-over. Will definitely take these pieces of knowledge and try to apply them to her and future works. Thanks again! :)
