I really like this guy! especially the oversized hands, which I think you handled quite properly. It def would look awesome in a game. I don't see anything wrong with him, tho I am not a character artist. :) Cheers!
Hi there! I have a patreon that I make yesterday, focused on lowpoly 3D models for indie devs or similar. The goal is to give packs of assets for the patreons. https://www.patreon.com/Wakefield Also, I will look your patreons and contribute on some of them :D
I agree with CougarJo, it's looks decent so far. It is ok to wander off from the concept just a bit to make the model look more interesting, however you should def always try to keep the actual silhouette as close the concept as possible.
I really like this idea! :) If you haven't seen Breaking Bad, I vaguely remember that the character Tuco has a similar Den to what you describe. Might be good reference? You can see it in Series 1. Keeping an eye on this one :)
I've got to give a major shout out to @Maximum-Dev for his latest thread on his process here. http://polycount.com/discussion/183365/tips-tutorials-tricks-ue4-alirezas-art-blog#latest Next stop, broken-ass fence.
I suppose early PC games were my entry point, but art-wise these were much superior (vs EGA gfx...) Loved the shit out of those books, def set my mood for years to come the shit--> http://www.gamebooks.org/
Hey! stop stealn dem pictuuurs of ma relatives heyuk.. I think we had an exhibition over in auz showing these - it depicted the photos also with a little bit of the story behind the faces - like one of the females was supposedly a brothel madame/owner
Just out of curiosity why would be put time into adding a renderer to a pure modeling program? Surely your dev time would be better spent solely concentrating on making this program a beast of a modeler? Also, nice to see that you're still working on this. :)
Initially i did think of weld seams but does that technology exist in that time? Def would like to get some rehammered parts and bolted stuff though. That way i can keep the leather to the handles where i want the hit of colour :)
haha..... .... ..hahahahaha It's a biped....like a character studio biped... I'm sorry, but like, no work went into this. look at the other people's entries and learn from them...they actually like modeled something. haha, and it's 5000 polies I just noticed...dear god.
