this feedback is awesome guys, thanks! Farfarer, just to clarify something here, when you're talking about magnitude, you mean the length of the vector, correct? if so i have some sweet pics coming up that covers that in either the next or immediately following post.
Thanks for the tips! I had no clue what kind of area we were staying in! I'll be using Uber a fair bit I think :) Do you guys find you usually have to line up for talks you're interested in attending or is that usually not needed?
Awesome talk, thank you so much for sharing! You can get the spherified Cube in Maya by taking a default cube, selecting all the edges, beveling, pushing the fraction to 1 and then upping the segments btw. Just make sure you merge the verts afterwards.
Wow that's so awesome! Thanks for posting the breakdown too. :) Great colors and technique. I was jsut showing this to a friend, and we were talking about how great it would be to see a series of posters like this. Anti-milkdrinker posters, Thalmor posters, etc. Awesome work. :)
Thanks for the info I'm running a core i5-2500 @ 3.3ghz and 16mb ddr3 ram I dont think i'll have much of a budget for a processor upgrade along with the video card, so hopefully that wont be that big of a problem with the 900 series you're talking about
@sprunghunt I'm gonna give that a try. I really want to get these Ice chunks bobbing in my environment. I have little to no desire to pursue animation, especially after attempting to animate verts on a plane. Talk about counter productive. Thanks again for the tip
Yep, it's been three years since you joined. All the ranks are listed here http://polycount.com/discussion/comment/2484871/#Comment_2484871 The message is silly. We could make it more serious, but why be serious when you can talk about amazing balls?
Thanks for the reply AGoodFella. Unfortunately I can't really cut it down in time as I am working to a brief for university and it has to be this long (20sec). I'm not looking for frame to frame feedback (although I wouldn't complain) but your advice on the "jank" (unfamiliar with that term, jerky?).
Thanks :) I've used bipeds before but not extensively. However, looking forward at the task I'm about to embark on id much rather spend some time learning the advanced settings of bipeds than spend likely a lot more time fixing and troubleshooting a bone rig.
Oh wow >.<. I'm sorry.. I tend to find the simplest of tasks the hardest.. even when you explain it clearly to begin with T_T, one of my worst attributes! Thanks so much! now I can lay on the couch zbrushing in more comfort! haha.
