I would just save your current project as a preset and create a new ddo project using that preset, but with your updated colour map. You'll have to copy over handmade layers manually though, as you mention in your OP. It might be a bit more work initially (a few minutes) but if it saves you hassle later on... -

It won't be modable... at least not initially - I've heard no plans either way on this so I could very well be wrong. Since one slide says "coming soon" I guess it will out by April. Can't wait for it too, I hope we see a UE4 integration soon after the initial release! I mean with the source fully available it should just be a matter of time. Great move from AMD to make it all freely available! -

He's rendering in Unreal and the unwrap and geometry aren't problems. If you look at "imported into ue4 and rotated" it's pretty simple geo. Could you share your files? Preferably the high + low in case there are problems with the bake. Initially I'm not sure what the problem is! It may have something to do with normals… -

Your love of the reef really does show through, Brendan :) You have actually inspired me to start another scene from scratch - using the existing assets initially - at a shallower depth, focussing on realism and density. I'll work hard to get a good range of corals and anemone as well as more than 3 fish :P -

It looks like you're off to a good start, but I would strongly recommend getting those initial face proportions as close as possible before you worry about any polypaint or hair / facial hair. That being said, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this shapes up. Keep working at it, man! -
