I use a Viewsonic VP191B, excellent monitor. 800:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time. It is an MVA panel with Overdrive, so it has quite quick response times and excellent viewing angle, aswell as being a true 8 bit panel instead of the 6 bit TN. Ok, heres how I see it: I see the scrolling at 800x600, and I'll fix that in a tick. EDIT: While not 100% fixed, its 99% fixed, as in you wont have to scroll at all now if you dont want to just for those extra few pixels. The reason its not 100% fixed is because I was a bumd ass with my background pic, and I cant be arsed… -

My best vision is at arms length (ie; monitor distance). I've lost a lot of vision in the past 2 years, doing scripting. Doing art, my eyes weren't focused on high-contrast letters and numbers all day long. I recently got reading glasses, and need to get distance glasses as well. I know of other artists that have similar setups to mine. I've an external NAS array (IcyBox Icy Box IB-NAS4220-B) which I've thrown 2x 1TB drives into. You can remove all the triangles around the bullets in the magazine. If you keep the bullets as they are ant then just make the holes black.
